Context

 

City Administration

City Administration (formerly known as Central Administration) consists of three groups: the Administration Group, the Finance and Strategy Group and the Urban Development Group.

City Administration operates under the authority of the Mayor. It oversees (takes care of) Turku City Council, The City Board as well as well as its decision-making process for preparing and implementing decisions. In addition, the City Administration assists the Mayor and Deputy Mayor and the various divisions in managing and ensuring (taking care of) Turku’s central services.

City Administration and eight Service Centres will continue to work under the govern-ance of the City Board.
