Museum open until late at night Happening on the Night of the Arts at WAMOn 12th of August the Wäinö Aaltonen museum is open until 23:00. There are guided tours to the Highlights-exhibition and a sale on the products of the musem store. In addition the ensemble Laulavan pensaan pojat is performing. | |

Turku has received a new urban sculpture Europe by Jits BakkerThe Dutch sculptor Jits Bakker has donated one of his works, a bronze sculpture entitled Europe, to the City of Turku. The sculpture is located in the Tervatori park at the end of Yliopistonkatu and Kutomokatu streets. |
